Baptist letters, 1817-1851.

The letters concern Baptist missionary work done among the Indians, the arrival of the Mormons in Council Bluffs, the Baptists' travels to the West Coast, and loss of life from hard travel, cholera and starvation. Isaac McCoy refers to the book he is working on, which was published later entitled, "History of the Baptist Indian Missions."
